How the hell am I going to survive this semester?!
My classes are killer. Maybe I should have expected them to be as such because everything is in Chinese.... but man! Although I've always managed to get my work done and pass all my classes in the States, most of my time was taken up my extra curriculars. Now, not only do I have no extra curriculars, but all my time is taken up by studying!
During the summer there was ample time to party it up with international and Chinese friends. Now, here is my schedule for the weekend:
1. study
2. buy winter clothes (it rained yesterday and it is cool!)
3. study
4. buy toothpaste (and a few other necessities)
5. study
6. study
7. and did I mention study?
8. Oooh and Mid Autumn Festival is on Sunday, so I will take a break and eat yummy Moon Cake!!
My tutor comes nearly everyday. I love her, and I see her more as a friend now. Her help and support make a significant impact on my advancement as a Chinese student and speaker of the language.
The main break I get from studying is my almost-daily jog. It's a great stress relief, and I get to take some time to listen to great music. Plus, it helps me keep my body in shape from all the salty and OILY foods that exist here. But it's all so delicious!!
So, I'm stressed, frustrated, and scared...
BUT watch out...
I'M GOING TO SPEAK, READ, WRITE, AND COMMUNICATE IN CHINESE!!!!!!!
Wheeee!!!!!!!!
